Prof. Ramadan Abu El-Ala, the Vice President of Community Service and Environment Development Affairs convened a meeting with the heads of the field training units at PUA faculties on Wednesday, 5 August 2020. The meeting agenda included a discussion about the number of students who are targeted to get summer training in the academic year 2019/2020. Field training plans were also discussed in light of the current circumstances, which included several suggestions, including: –

• The student should search for external training opportunities then receive a formal letter from the center after the approval of the head of the unit, noting that the parent approval is a must.
• The training should be at training centers approved by the faculty with a maximum of 25% of the total training days, according to the faculty regulations.

Online workshops should be organized in the faculties, with a maximum of 50% of the total training days, according to the faculty regulations.
