Within the framework of the Faculty of Engineering’s keenness on cultural activities and their role in shaping the student’s personality, as well as positively discharging students’ energies, the Department of Mechanical Engineering organized, under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, a new competition to celebrate the International Pie Day. The competition gave an opportunity to win an apple pie to those who memorized the highest digits of (π) decimals. The competition took place on Tuesday, March 14^th, 2022, with the participation of students from different years and departments. Further, the event was organized by a group of students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. At the end of the competition, prizes were awarded to the participating students and an apple pie was awarded to the winner.
