The agreement reflects both universities’ commitment to strengthening academic and institutional cooperation and creating new horizons for the exchange of knowledge and expertise, in addition to launching joint initiatives that contribute to empowering youth and promoting an environment of innovation and entrepreneurship across Africa, representing an important step toward building a fruitful and sustainable partnership among African higher education institutions.

The signing coincided with the launch of the Intra-Africa 2063 event, organized by the University from 4 to 7 October 2026 under the slogan “Africa by Africans,” with the support of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), the Durban University of Technology (DUT) in South Africa, and the International Federation of Arab Businessmen and Investors Abroad.

The event features the launch of the “Grand Challenge 2063” to promote responsible consumption and production, in addition to discussions on innovation tracks, including Smart Business & Artificial Intelligence, Green FinTech, and Health & Community Well-being.
