Participating in the Armed Forces’ 9th Educational Seminar

Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) marked a distinguished presence at the 9th Consolidated Educational Seminar organized by the Armed Forces, represented by the Popular and Military Defense Forces in cooperation with Alexandria University. The event took place at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina theater, aiming to enhance national awareness among youth and consolidate the values of belonging within the Egyptian state’s efforts to build awareness.

The seminar saw high-level attendance, including Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Alexandria; Major General Hesham Hosni, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces; Dr. Ahmed Adel Abdel Hakim, Acting President of Alexandria University; and Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina. They were joined by the presidents of PUA, BATU, AIU, USC, and EJUST, alongside a host of academic and military leaders.

The program featured a variety of national and cultural activities, including honoring the families of martyrs and outstanding students. Artistic performances were presented, such as the “Ahla Bilad al-Dunya Misr” choir, the national play “Misr Umm al-Dunya,” and a sports display titled “From the Land of Civilization to the Sinai Victory.” The seminar included a lecture by Dr. Ghada Amer on the role of technology and artificial intelligence in modern warfare, during which she emphasized the importance of cybersecurity and preparing youth cadres capable of keeping pace with technical shifts to protect the country’s security and stability.
