In the light of mutual cooperation between PUA’s Faculty of Engineering and the Royal Institute of Technology “KTH”, three students were awarded scholarships via the European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students (Erasmus+). This scholarship was for one full semester in Sweden in Fall 2021 – 2022 from August 2021 to January 2022. In a lecture held in PUA on Tuesday, March 8th, 2022, the students showed their experience starting from preparing their documents till they received the scholarship. Later, each student demonstrated the academic, social and cultural aspects of his experience. They also showed the benefits brought by the scholarship; as they had the chance to deal with colleagues from different nationalities, identified their way of thinking, and drew a comparison between what is being taught in PUA and elsewhere. Moreover, the students commended the continuous communication and support, whether moral or academic, provided by the PUA’s faculty members and teaching assistants. In the forefront of those faculty members came Prof. Dr. Hamdy Afify, Head of Construction Engineering and Management Department, Dr. Essam Fouad, Academic Advisor-General of the Construction Engineering and Management Department, and Dr. Diaa Hamdy, International Relations Coordinator in the Construction Engineering and Management Department. Further continuous assistance and supervision have been provided by Dr. Albania Nissan from KTH, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al Nagar, former Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Damanhur University and Professor Emeritus, Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, and Eng. Amr Saad, Chairman of Zebex.
