Mosaic Art Workshop

PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design hosted a specialized artistic workshop titled “Basics of Mosaic Art.” This initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to developing student skills in applied arts and interior design while expanding their cognitive and aesthetic horizons.

The workshop focused on introducing participants to the foundations of this ancient art, a key element in modern interior design. The content included a comprehensive review of mosaic history, highlighting the various styles and techniques used in creating artworks across different eras.

The program featured an intensive practical segment, allowing students to refine their manual skills by creating innovative designs using glass, ceramics, and stones. This hands-on experience helped enhance the trainees’ creative imagination and gave them the ability to transform simple materials into artworks of high aesthetic value.

Students showed significant engagement with the workshop’s themes, emphasizing the added value gained by linking theoretical knowledge with real-world application. These events represent an important step in preparing qualified professionals who can effectively and efficiently meet the demands of the design and decor labor market.
