Mass Communication’s Orientation Day
PUA’s Faculty of Mass Communication hosted a comprehensive Orientation Day for newly admitted students at the Student Theater in the Lighthouse Hall, attended by esteemed faculty members and academic leadership. The gathering drew remarkable student turnout, gathering approximately 100 new and continuing students in a welcoming academic atmosphere.
The orientation covered pivotal topics aimed at familiarizing new students with their upcoming academic journey and ensuring a smooth transition into university life. Discussions highlighted the faculty’s academic identity, its specialized departments, and course structures, alongside providing a detailed breakdown of the credit-hour system. Furthermore, faculty members introduced the diverse extracurricular programs, practical training initiatives, and media workshops available to refine students’ creative and technical skill sets.
This engagement reflects the Faculty’s commitment to offering continuous guidance and academic support from day one, ensuring students develop the professional and technical capabilities required to excel within the rapidly evolving media industry.
