Mass Communication Concludes its Qualification Week
PUA’s Faculty of Mass Communication concluded the activities of its Field Training Qualification Week. This closing event activates the faculty’s strategy to prepare the student body for the modern media market and refine their professional skills prior to their summer field training engagement.
The final day featured a series of specialized sessions and interactive workshops bringing students together with leading experts. Radio and Television Department students met with Ms. Samia El-Bakadouchy, Senior Radio Announcer, who shared her professional field experience and offered practical guidance on preparation, presentation skills, and adapting to media environment pressures. Simultaneously, Public Relations and Marketing Communications students engaged in an extensive discussion session with representatives from “Udjat” and “Kiwano Media” to review practical training mechanisms, available opportunities, and real-world skills required for marketing and corporate reputation management.
The Dean emphasized that the qualification week serves as a cornerstone in the faculty’s plan to bridge academic curricula with direct practical applications, ensuring graduates’ capabilities align with the evolving demands of local and regional labor markets. Further, she explained that continuous collaboration with professional institutions and media figures aims to shape students’ professional identity, equipping them with the expertise needed to become competitive media professionals upon graduation.
