Launching Strategic Partnership Program “THM Connect”

PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management launched its new strategic partnership program with the tourism and hospitality sector, titled “THM Connect.” This initiative strengthens the Faculty’s community development role and links the educational process with modern labor market needs through effective practical partnerships that enhance student employability and foster joint innovation.

The program aims to prepare qualified graduates equipped with professional skills and clinical expertise capable of competing effectively in both local and international labor markets. This target is achieved through a package of mechanisms, including providing advanced field training opportunities, organizing specialized lectures and workshops led by industry experts, facilitating direct employment pathways for graduates, and nurturing students in developing entrepreneurial and innovative ideas linked to solving real-world hospitality industry challenges.

Furthermore, the program offers an institutional space for tourism industry representatives to participate in developing academic curricula and programs, providing continuous career counseling, and engaging in the evaluation and defense of graduation projects. This initiative represents a strategic milestone reflecting the Faculty’s commitment to developing scholars’ capabilities and technical readiness, keeping pace with rapid shifts in the global tourism sector while serving sustainable community development goals.
