Languages & Translation: Hosting Inspiring Success Stories
In support of PUA’s commitment to its community role and fostering meaningful connections between its graduates and current students, the Faculty of Languages and Translation hosted a meet-up with a number of its alumni, aimed at sharing professional experience and preparing students for the demands of the job market.
The event brought together a select group of graduates who shared insights from their career journeys. Shahd Abdullah Hassan (Class of 2025) spoke about her experience working at a Taiwanese machinery company, while Reham El-Sayed Hafez (Class of 2024) discussed her work in translation and administration at Cairon Textile. Mirna Tarek (Class of 2024) also took the floor to present her career path in human resources at Octopus.
The gathering sparked notable engagement from students, as the alumni offered a series of practical and inspiring tips, emphasizing the importance of perseverance, continuous skill development, and adaptability in keeping pace with an ever-evolving job market.
The event forms part of PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development sector activities, which aim to build lasting bridges with alumni and reinforce the University’s role in developing well-qualified graduates capable of making a meaningful contribution to society.
