Languages and Translation’s Orientation Day

PUA’s Faculty of Languages and Translation highlighted the strategic role of its Community Service and Environmental Development Committee during the Orientation Day for newly admitted students. This initiative aims to familiarize incoming cohorts with volunteer frameworks and environmental initiatives, embedding social responsibility and community participation within future linguists and translators from the outset of their academic journey.

A representative from the faculty’s Community Service Center delivered an informative address detailing the committee’s operational objectives and emphasizing the value of student participation in community initiatives hosted by the faculty. The presentation reviewed the committee’s scope in promoting social awareness and organizing field projects, demonstrating how extracurricular community engagement enriches student character, sharpens communication skills, and fosters active civic participation.

This active involvement reaffirms PUA’s strategy to solidify concepts of social partnership among its students, providing language scholars with direct opportunities to serve their community while developing well-rounded, highly qualified professionals prepared for both regional and international career landscapes.
