Green Pharos Participates in Tourism’s Orientation Day

In the presence of students from PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, the Green Pharos Committee participated in the orientation day event organized for incoming students. The program featured an introductory presentation outlining the committee’s role in raising environmental awareness and promoting sustainable development values across campus, alongside showcasing eco-friendly initiatives and student volunteer opportunities.

The session highlighted the vital role of student engagement in driving environmental advocacy, encouraging positive sustainability habits within the campus and broader community. Speakers emphasized the alignment of the committee’s environmental projects with global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Egypt Vision 2030.

This participation reflects PUA’s ongoing efforts to cultivate environmental stewardship among its students, integrating sustainability into campus life to build a green, eco-conscious academic community.
