Green Pharos Participates in Languages’ Orientation Day

In line with promoting sustainability and environmental conservation, PUA’s Faculty of Languages and Translation integrated the Green Pharos Committee into its orientation day activities, introducing new students to the committee’s key role in supporting eco-friendly practices across campus.

The Faculty’s representative for the Green Pharos Committee, delivered an introductory presentation outlining the committee’s mission to enhance environmental literacy and encourage resource-saving habits among students. He further emphasized the importance of active student participation in green initiatives, transforming sustainable development principles into daily habits both on and off campus.

This participation reflects PUA’s ongoing efforts to advance environmental awareness among its student body, encouraging active involvement in initiatives aligned with global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and preparing globally minded translation and language professionals.
