Green Pharos Participates in Dentistry’s Orientation Day

As part of the orientation day events at PUA’s Faculty of Dentistry, freshman students were introduced to the Green Pharos Committee and its central role in advancing environmental literacy and sustainability concepts across the campus community.

The Faculty’s representative for the Green Pharos Committee delivered an introductory presentation outlining the committee’s objectives in supporting sustainable environmental practices and resource conservation. She also highlighted the importance of active student engagement in green initiatives, encouraging new dental students to adopt eco-friendly habits within campus and clinical settings.

This participation reflects PUA’s ongoing commitment to instilling environmental consciousness among its student body, encouraging active involvement in programs aligned with global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and preparing future dental professionals with strong environmental and social responsibility.
