In a bid to implement the field training plan for the academic year 2023-2024, the Field Training Center, headed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Etman, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in coordination with the Faculty of Engineering, organized the qualifying week for engineering students.

Various industry experts from external training providers participated in the event, including the Egyptian Petrochemical Company (EPC), The Egyptian Ethylene and Derivatives Company (ETHYDCO), the Engineers Syndicate, Egypt Experts Company for Software and Hardware, Mosahamet El Behera Co., and Beton Engineering and Contracting Co. In addition to the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC), the General Authority for Alexandria Port, Kasr El Salam for Real Estate and Commercial Investment, and Alexandria National Refining and Petrochemical Co. (ANRPC).

Furthermore, PUA’s Field Training Center gave great attention to holding face-to-face meetings between students and specialists from external training providers during the qualifying week before the beginning of the training.

The Center also aimed to familiarize the students with all the necessary obligations and information related to the field training field, in addition to develop the skills they studied theoretically and applying them on-the-ground.
