Engineering: Orientation Day for Academic Departments and Programs

PUA’s Faculty of Engineering hosted a comprehensive orientation day showcasing its various departments and programs. The event aimed to introduce both new and returning students to different academic specialties, study plans, and the professional training and qualification opportunities provided by the faculty in alignment with modern standards and evolving labor market demands.

The orientation drew significant attendance from faculty members, teaching assistants, and representatives of academic departments who delivered detailed presentations outlining each department’s vision and mission. They also reviewed available majors and specialties, while highlighting future career opportunities for graduates across various engineering and industrial sectors.

The event offered students a valuable opportunity for direct interaction with professors, allowing them to raise inquiries regarding academic pathways, field training, and co-curricular student activities. This interactive dynamic enhanced their academic awareness, helping them select the engineering specialty that best matches their capabilities and personal interests. The faculty administration emphasized its continuous commitment to sponsoring such advisory events to support students both academically and professionally, while bridging communication channels between students and their respective academic departments.
