Dialogue Meetings to Enhance Research Outputs
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gaber Abu Ali, PUA’s Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, held a series of direct dialogue meetings with postgraduate students across various faculties offering advanced academic programs. The meetings included the faculties of Pharmacy, Dentistry, Engineering, Languages and Translation, Mass Communication, and Arts and Design, reflecting the university’s commitment to strengthening effective institutional communication and supporting the academic and research journeys of its scholars.
These meetings embody PUA’s approach toward establishing mechanisms for fruitful dialogue with researchers within each faculty. This baseline allows for the direct discussion of challenges unique to each academic program, while listening to students’ insights and suggestions to develop the educational and research processes more effectively. During his sessions with the students, Dr. Abu Ali emphasized the centrality of supporting the scientific research ecosystem, encouraging innovation, and continuously creating a stimulating academic environment that empowers postgraduate students to develop their skills and elevate the quality of scientific outputs and international publishing, aligning with PUA’s strategy for academic and research excellence.
The meetings witnessed extensive positive interaction from the students, who discussed a package of inquiries and suggestions regarding research plans and academic facilities in an atmosphere of absolute transparency and openness, enhancing the connection between the academic administration and researchers. These efforts contribute directly to the sustainable development of the postgraduate and scientific research ecosystem, fostering a culture of direct communication to keep pace with global and local academic advancements.
