Child Patients and Families Educational Week

PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) held an intensive educational week at the Faculty of Dentistry targeting young patients and their families. This initiative reinforces the pioneering social role and health awareness championed by the university. The week featured a package of awareness activities focusing on the centrality of oral and dental health in children, cavity prevention methods, and instilling healthy daily care habits.

Specialists provided vital guidance to parents on managing various dental conditions in children and accurately following treatment plans. The program featured simple and innovative interactive activities tailored for children, aiming to simplify medical information and alleviate the anxiety and fear associated with dentist visits, thereby building trust in the medical services available at the faculty. This educational week reflects CSED’s commitment to supporting awareness initiatives for groups most in need of healthcare, activating PUA’s mission to serve its surrounding environment.
