Arts and Design’s Alumni Meeting

PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED), in cooperation with the Alumni Committee at the Faculty of Arts and Design, hosted an exceptional gathering embodying PUA’s commitment to building bridges between creative generations and linking academic study with professional reality. The meeting commenced with a presentation of pioneering career paths for alumni who have secured a distinguished position in the world of art and design.

The forum reviewed the experience of interior designer Mohamed Diaa El-Din Dahshan, who successfully executed major residential, commercial, and medical projects through Mokbel Design & Architecture Co. The experience of artist Yomna Yaqout Mohamed was also showcased, who won the award for the best graduation project at the national level and participated in major galleries with innovative artworks, currently working as an independent artist with global aspirations.

The presentation included the journey of graphic designer Iqbal Adham (Class of 2022), who founded her own company, Graphipo, after rich experience in visual identity development, in addition to the experience of Jailan Mohamed Salem (Class of 2024), a fashion design specialist who gained extensive experience in prestigious fashion houses such as Cleo and Naga Homme.

Further, the gathering witnessed the presence of elite entrepreneurs, including Engineer Ahmed Fathallah, owner of Ejad Designs, and Engineer Sherif Abdel Karim, founder of Creative Ads, who provided strategic insights into contemporary labor market requirements. The meeting featured interactive dialogue sessions that gave students a direct opportunity to gain expertise and ask questions, enhancing their professional readiness and confirming PUA’s role in supporting community development by graduating cadres possessing creative and entrepreneurial tools.
