Architectural Engineering Launches its 2026 Graduation Project Defenses

The Architectural Engineering Department at PUA’s Faculty of Engineering commenced the oral defense sessions for the senior graduation projects. This event activates the Department’s continuous commitment to supporting academic excellence, refining creative capacities, and presenting urban proposals that align with the developmental movement in Egypt. The Department hosts a constellation of prominent professors and experts from various Egyptian universities to participate in the evaluation committees, offering students an exceptional opportunity to present their design strategies before specialized panels and benefit directly from their contemporary academic and professional insights.

This year’s graduation projects embody innovative philosophical and design visions centered on the “City of Arts and Culture” project. The scope of the students’ work encompassed comprehensive architectural building designs, integrating both structural and aesthetic dimensions, alongside a complementary approach toward interior architecture by designing vital internal spaces within each project. This systematic integration reflects the structural cohesion between macro-architecture and interior design, directly contributing to shaping distinguished graduates equipped with the academic knowledge and practical skills required to compete effectively within local and international engineering markets.

This year’s graduation project operates under the academic guidance and supervision of a high-level committee including Prof. Dr. Ramadan Abdel Maqsoud, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mounir Soliman, Prof. Dr. Alaa El-Alfy, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Marouf, Prof. Dr. Ghada Ragheb, and Dr. Taghreed Ahmed. The Department expressed its warmest wishes to all students for continued success and sustainable distinction, extending its deepest appreciation to the external evaluators for their valuable participation and efforts. The Department looks forward to a high-caliber academic event that demonstrates the high competence of the students and reflects the cognitive and engineering tools acquired throughout their educational journey at the university.
