Academic Visit to Zamalek Showrooms

The Photography Department, Faculty of Arts and Design organized an academic visit to the Zamalek Showrooms in Cairo for 1st and 2nd year students of the Photography Department. As well as the 4th year student of the Photography Department, mural design program, and painting and photography program.

This visit was supervised by the course professors. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nermin Gomaa, Associate Professor, Photography Department and Acting Head of Department, and Dr. Jilan Hussein, Lecturer Photography Department.

In addition, the students visited the Zamalek Showroom, Egypt Showroom, and the Nile Showroom. They also drew a set of distinguished sketches from the various works of art on display.

At the end of the visit, the students visited Die Showroom, and met showroom official, Mr. Hisham Qandil, who asked them a number of questions about art pioneers and others. The students’ answers won his admiration, and he praised their excellence and artistic talent.

This visit had a lot of positive impact on the significance of students’ knowledge of the requirements of the labor market in the field of plastic arts.
