Languages & Translation Launches its Qualification Week
The activities of the Field Training Qualification Week commenced at PUA’s Faculty of Languages and Translation, for the 2025-2026 academic year. This initiative activates PUA’s Field Training Center (FTC) commitment to providing an integrated educational experience that skillfully merges academic theories with direct practical application, keeping pace with rapid shifts in the modern labor market and enhancing the competitive capabilities of the faculty’s graduates across various professional fields.
The opening day featured an extensive specialized orientation lecture delivered by Dr. Raghda Maged, Director of the Faculty’s Training Unit, alongside Mr. Ezz El-Din Naguib, representative of the leading educational institution “I Can Read.” During the session, the speakers highlighted the vital importance of field training as a core pillar in shaping the professional character of future specialists, offering students real opportunities to apply their acquired linguistic and literary knowledge within active work environments, directly refining their practical experience, linguistic expertise, and translation and communication skills.
The opening lecture reviewed modern linguistic training mechanisms and methods to integrate artificial intelligence strategies into language teaching and translation, while introducing students to the professional and ethical responsibilities demanded by global organizations. These preparatory steps aim to equip the student body cognitively and practically for smooth integration into their scheduled summer training, supporting PUA’s vision to deliver outstanding educational outputs capable of leading translation, education, and cross-cultural communication sectors with efficiency and merit in local and regional markets.
