An Intensive Scientific Week

PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy held a distinctive scientific week, presenting a successful model of integration between theoretical education and advanced practical training, driven by international cooperation and academic excellence. The event featured a prominent academic partnership with University of Science, Malaysia (USM).

The activities commenced with the participation of the Malaysian academic delegation as keynote speakers at the faculty’s Fifth Scientific Conference, a step embodying the depth of international partnerships and the exchange of research expertise between both institutions. Following the conference, an intensive workshop organized by the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice kicked off, aiming at interactive and practical student training utilizing modern technological software, recognized among the top global programs in simulating clinical pharmacy practices within hospitals.

Simultaneously, a specialized workshop in Pharmaceutical Compounding was organized, offering students an exceptional opportunity to combine modern clinical pharmacy skills with laboratory formulation arts. This cognitive blend contributed to achieving the necessary integration to prepare a promising graduate qualified to compete with efficiency and competence across various sectors of the pharmaceutical profession locally and internationally.
