Under the umbrella of the International African Relations with the Cooperation of PUA’s EDC and the African Association Universities, the AAU-Naro office, The University hosted a virtual workshop entitled: Online Interactive Teaching and Learning Activities in Higher Education. This workshop was for Four hours with participants from all over Africa continent within the framework of the participation into THE AFRICAN UNIVERSITIES’ DAY CELEBRATIONS 2021. Since more than twenty African Participants had joined the workshop from different countries from Egypt, Zambia, Liberia Nigeria Cameroon Uganda, Botswana, Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia and south Africa.

 

The online workshop was Presented by Dr. Noha El-Salamouni, Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology, International Relations Coordinator, PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy, and EDC trainer. It aimed at implementing different interactive teaching and learning modules during online learning to involve the students in the learning process rather than being passive observers. It also provides an insight of different active learning strategies implemented at Pharos University in Alexandria.

 

The workshop was organized under the supervision of Dr. Menna Gowayed, head of International Relations Department, Dr. Nourhane El Haridi, International African Relation Coordinator, and Prof. Lobna Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Deputy Director of EDC.
