As part of its third environmental campaign titled “Green Pharos”, PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management held an awareness workshop titled “Sustainability is a Shared Responsibility”, aimed at promoting environmental awareness and enhancing the concept of sustainable development among the Faculty’s students. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Magdy, Faculty’s Green Pharos representative. During the session, he discussed the concept of sustainability and its importance in achieving balance between economic development and the preservation of natural resources, reviewing examples of successful environmental practices that can be applied in the tourism and hotel sectors.

The workshop aligns with PUA’s commitment to instilling positive and responsible behaviors toward the environment, supporting its efforts in transitioning towards a green and sustainable university, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
