Student Projects Aligning with Vision 2030
Continuing the activities of the third environmental campaign “Green Pharos” and activating the role of PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED), the Green Pharos Committee at the Faculty of Arts and Design hosted a workshop titled “Towards Student Projects Achieving Vision 2030.” The workshop aimed to link academic outputs with Egypt’s strategic goals, ensuring the preparation of a generation that contributes effectively to building the future.
The workshop, presented by Assoc. Prof. Salma Youssef, Coordinator of the Faculty’s Green Pharos Committee, discussed mechanisms for directing student projects to support Egypt Vision 2030 by integrating environmental, economic, and social dimensions into the design and implementation phases. The session focused on the role of artistic creativity in providing innovative solutions that serve society and achieve sustainability, while reviewing applied models that can be implemented on the ground.
This activity falls within CSED’s plan to raise student awareness of sustainable development issues and encourage them to transform their theoretical ideas into developmental projects that keep pace with national trends. The workshop reflects PUA’s commitment to empowering youth and equipping them with the necessary skills to innovate environmental and artistic solutions that support the transition towards a green economy and sustainable living.
