Following the culmination of the holy month of Ramadan, PUA’s Student Activities Department orchestrated a Holy Qur’an recitation competition among its various faculties. Numerous students from all faculties participated in this competition by submitting audio recordings on CDs, commencing from Surah Yusuf and extending to the conclusion of the sixth verse, with the objective of discerning the most exemplary vocal performances during the initial stage of adjudication.

Five students progressed to the competition’s final stage subsequent to successfully navigating the preliminary round. Thereafter, the panel of adjudicators, comprising Prof. Dr. Muhammad Etman, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, alongside Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Hussein, an external adjudicator holding a license in Recitation and Tajweed from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and faculty members chose the students successfully passing the first stage.

Student Salah Hani Othman, from the Faculty of Dentistry, came in the first place, while student Yahya Muhammad Hamid Jalal, from the Faculty of Physical Therapy, came in the second place, and student Hasnaa Ramadan Saad, also from the Faculty of Physical Therapy,

Further, PUA has honored all winner students and awarded them with certificates of appreciation.
