The Media Arts Department at PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design visited Tutankhamun Immersive Exhibition at the Grand Egyptian Museum. During this visit, the students had an immersive experience via the latest 360° projectors, accompanied by a soundtrack. This, in turn, allowed the students to experience 2D and 3D animation designs, and immersive presentation designs. The students then took a guided tour through the Grand Staircase, which displays more than 60 unique artifacts of great historical significance. This visit, however; was concluded with a visit to Al-Muizz li-Din Allah al-Fatimi Street, learning about the history of the most famous landmarks of this street, which is an open museum of Islamic architecture and antiquities. It is worth noting that this trip came within the requirements of certain courses taught in the Department’s.
