The results of the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025 have been announced, covering 1,745 higher education institutions across 105 countries.
Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) is proud to be listed among this global ranking, achieving 924th place worldwide. On the local scale, however, it has been ranked 26th among Egyptian universities included in the 2025 ranking. These results indicate that PUA obtained a total score of 5,477.5 in the ranking.
This recognition reflects PUA’s commitment to sustainability and green campus initiatives, highlighting ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure, energy management, water usage, transportation, waste management, and other sustainability standards adopted by UI GreenMetric.
