PUA Participate in the 12th All Africa University Games
Pharos University in Alexandria announced the participation of its student delegation in the 12th All Africa University Games in Cairo 2026, launching today with over 2,000 students and officials representing 82 universities from 18 African nations. This major continental sports event gathers elite student-athletes in various competitive disciplines, showcasing the vitality and diversity of university sports across Africa.
PUA’s participation in this regional event reflects its continuous commitment to supporting student talents, encouraging their active involvement in major championships, and offering them professional competitive experience alongside peers from across the African continent. The games are organized through joint collaboration between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Federation of Africa University Sports (FASU), and the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation (EUSF), under the slogan “One Flame, One Continent”.
PUA’s officials extended its best wishes for success to the participating student delegation, expressing full confidence in their ability to achieve top honors and deliver outstanding performances. PUA emphasizes that this participation reinforces its athletic and academic presence locally and continentally while fostering international networking and youth solidarity across Africa.
