Popular and Military Defense Forces Awareness Seminar

Pharos University in Alexandria hosted an extensive awareness seminar for students enrolled in Military and Civic Education courses, organized by the Popular and Military Defense Forces Command. This event activates the university’s and military institution’s commitment to deepening national consciousness and civic responsibility among university youth. The seminar featured high-level attendance led by Major General Staff Hisham Hosni Hassan, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, Brigadier General Mohamed Yousry Dweir, Assistant Commander for Military Education, and Major General Staff Dr. Hafez Hassan, alongside PUA officials and numerous students.

The keynote lecture delivered by Major General Staff Dr. Hafez Hassan addressed core Egyptian national security priorities, analyzing regional and international geopolitical dynamics. The session underscored the vital importance of fostering authentic national awareness to counter rumors and misinformation, highlighting the pivotal role of university youth in safeguarding national resources and preserving stability through informed responsibility.
