Participating in the Coordination Meeting for Egyptian Universities

PUA’s Student Activities Department participated in an extensive coordination meeting held via “Microsoft Teams,” within the ongoing preparations for the “Best University in Student Activities” competition among Egyptian universities.

The meeting commenced with an orientation session among representatives of the participating universities, followed by a speech by Dr. Karim Hammam, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Student Activities. He emphasized the necessity of full compliance with the approved evaluation criteria, focusing specifically on the ninth and eleventh criteria due to their pivotal role in measuring the quality and execution of activities. He warned against duplicating activities uploaded to the electronic platform, affirming that all submissions will undergo a comprehensive review and audit to exclude any repeated entries, ensuring accuracy and credibility. Furthermore, he explained that the specialized committee will conduct a precise comparison between participating public and private universities regarding quality and execution mechanisms to select the winning university.

The meeting outlined the mandatory technical guidelines for documenting submissions, which include:

  • Upload Format: Uploading each criterion separately in a distinct (PDF) file via the electronic platform.
  • Hard and Soft Copies: Submitting printed reports by hand, accompanied by an electronic copy on a flash drive.
  • Deadline: The end of July 2026 was set as the final deadline for uploading all criteria and documents.
  • Size Limitations: The documentation magazine must not exceed 200 pages, and the uploaded file size must not exceed 150 megabytes.

The meeting concluded by reaffirming the centrality of discipline and adherence to all specified instructions and schedules, elevating the quality of participation and reflecting the structural excellence of Egyptian universities.
