“Our Home is Our Responsibility” Seminar

PUA’s Faculty of Legal Studies and International Transactions hosted an awareness seminar titled “Our Home is Our Responsibility,” advancing the fourth environmental campaign of the “Green Pharos” initiative. Organized by the faculty’s Green Pharos Committee, the event aimed to promote environmental awareness and foster sustainable practices among students. The faculty representative for the Green Pharos Committee delivered the seminar’s key themes, emphasizing that environmental preservation is a collective responsibility that begins with daily individual habits at home and on campus, extending to benefit society at large.

The seminar highlighted a range of positive environmental practices, including optimizing water and energy consumption, reducing resource waste, and adopting proper waste management techniques. Furthermore, the session stressed the importance of adopting sustainable lifestyles to protect natural resources for future generations. Discussions highlighted that achieving long-term sustainability requires individual action alongside institutional efforts, translating environmental awareness into daily continuous behavior.

This seminar aligns with the operational plan of the faculty’s Green Pharos Committee, reflecting its dedication to encouraging student participation in environmental issues. PUA continues to lead sustainability efforts and promote eco-friendly behaviors across its campus, in alignment with sustainable development goals.
