Open-Source Graphic Applications Workshop

PUA’s Faculty of Arts and Design hosted a specialized training workshop titled “Project Presentation Design in Interior Design Using Open-Source Applications,” with broad participation from students, alumni, and visual design enthusiasts. The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ skills in presenting their projects with a professional flair that reflects conceptual quality and execution strength, focusing on technical pillars such as Presentation Board fundamentals and Layout & Composition principles.

The sessions explored mechanisms for selecting colors, fonts, and integrating images and graphics to serve the project’s identity, highlighting key open-source applications that enable high-quality presentations without the need for paid software. The event saw significant engagement from attendees who praised the practical content, emphasizing the role of such training programs in expanding their professional toolkits and sharpening their competitive skills within the interior and graphic design markets.
