No to Harassment
PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED), in cooperation with the Faculty of Art and Design, hosted an extensive awareness seminar titled “No to Harassment.” The event drew a large attendance of students and faculty members, reinforcing the university’s commitment to spreading social awareness and embedding human and ethical values within and beyond the campus.
The seminar explored the legal and social definitions of harassment in its various forms, analyzing its deep psychological and social impacts on individual well-being and community stability. The discussions emphasized the centrality of fostering a culture of mutual respect and safeguarding human dignity to ensure a safe, supportive educational and social environment for all. The event witnessed remarkable student engagement through lively discussions, where participants presented innovative ideas and targeted awareness initiatives aimed at curbing this negative phenomenon and educating peers on counter-mechanisms.
CSED’s officials reaffirmed that these activities fall within PUA’s comprehensive awareness strategy, activating its civic role in addressing pressing issues that impact the youth sector, while preparing future leaders on foundations of awareness and social responsibility.
