In coordination with PUA’s community service center, the Faculty of Dentistry organized a medical convoy to the Kaumeya Language School (KLS) Several faculty members and internship students participated in the activity. It was also supervised by Prof. Dr. Ramadan Abu El-Ela, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Sherif Darwish, coordinator of the Faculty’s Community Service Committee.

 

The participating students and faculty members, raised the health awareness of the children. They taught them about the significance of dental hygiene, and how to protect them from cavity, through using pictures, colored drawings and games. In addition, toothbrushes and toothpaste were distributed to children.

 

At the end of the visit, photos were taken with the children in an atmosphere of joy and happiness.
