Managing Internationalization in HEIs Continues

In a strategic move to bolster global engagement and advance its international relations framework, PUA successfully concluded the first level of its intensive training program, “Managing Internationalization in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).” The second part of the foundational workshop, titled “Structure & Responsibilities of the International Relations Office/Coordinator,” was also held, following the successful delivery of the first part earlier in the month.

The workshop focused on building a comprehensive vision for the role of International Relations Offices (IROs), achieving the following key objectives:

  • Organizational Excellence: Enhancing participants’ understanding of IRO tasks while exploring diverse international models and best practices to optimize the university’s internal structures.
  • Coordination & Engagement: Developing advanced skills in work distribution and stakeholder involvement to ensure the professional management of international activities.
  • Competency-Based Management: Implementing a methodology for assessing committee members and distributing roles based on specific competencies, thereby increasing teamwork efficiency and operational impact.

This program is a cornerstone of PUA’s vision to empower its staff with the necessary tools for “Internationalization.” By fostering global partnerships and academic exchange, Pharos PUA continues to solidify its position on the global higher education map in alignment with international quality standards.
