Legal Studies Launches its Qualification Week

PUA’s Faculty of Legal Studies and International Transactions launched the activities of the Field Training Qualification Week, activating the comprehensive operational plans of PUA’s Field Training Center (FTC). These strategic events target developing the student’s legal and professional skills, refining their applied and analytical capacities to ensure optimal preparation for joining advanced legal and judicial work environments.

The opening day featured an extensive specialized orientation lecture delivered by Dr. Mohamed Badawy, Lecturer of Civil Law and Intellectual Property and Director of the Faculty’s Field Training Unit, reviewing the applied dimensions of legal practice in preparation for actual summer field training engagement. The lecture focused on highlighting the vital link between legislative texts, judicial rulings, and practical field execution within courts and legal institutions. Furthermore, it introduced students to contract drafting techniques, pleading mechanisms, intellectual property protection principles, and strict professional ethics required during training.

The faculty administration emphasized that investing in students’ readiness prior to their field placement serves as the core pillar to bridge the gap between academic theories and contemporary legal market demands in advocacy, legal consultations, and international transactions.
