PUA’s Faculty of Legal Studies and International Relations recently hosted a seminar focusing on the Legal Aspects of Protecting the Right to a Clean Environment. The event attracted numerous faculty members, teaching assistants, and students from various academic years.

During the seminar, participants delved into the rationale behind the establishment of internal legal frameworks aimed at safeguarding the environment. They also explored key international treaties designed to address industrial risks posing threats to the environment. Additionally, the seminar underscored the significance of the human right to a clean environment, considering it an inherent entitlement stemming from the broader human right to health.
