Introductory Session on Subtitling

Driven by PUA’s Faculty of Languages and Translation’s commitment to introduce students to diverse translation fields and highlight practical applications, the faculty hosted an introductory session on subtitling and screen translation as a foundational step in the translation career path. Organized under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, the event aimed to link theoretical language study with modern media applications.

The session highlighted the growing importance of subtitling and its vital role in translating visual content across languages. This orientation helped students understand the nature and technical requirements of audiovisual translation, opening new avenues to enhance their linguistic and translation capabilities.
