Fostering Social Solidarity

Driven by its commitment to corporate social responsibility and its mission to support underprivileged groups, PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) conducted a humanitarian campaign to distribute blankets to beneficiaries of the “Al-Qala’a” Association in the El-Awayed area. The initiative embodied the spirit of social solidarity and underscored the vital role of academic institutions in serving their local communities, particularly during the winter season.

The campaign featured remarkable collaboration across various faculties, led by the Faculty of Languages and Translation in partnership with the Faculties of Pharmacy, Financial and Administrative Sciences, and Legal Studies and International Transactions. This campaign reflects PUA’s strategy to instill the values of volunteerism in its students and staff, translating humanitarian ideals into tangible actions that serve the public. The initiative was warmly received by the beneficiaries, reaffirming the importance of partnerships between the university and civil society organizations in achieving sustainable development and providing a decent life for families in need across Alexandria.
