Exploring Storytelling Horizons

PUA’s Faculty of Languages and Translation hosted a seminar on “the Art of Storytelling,” supervised by the Student Activities Department. The event featured a lecture by Ms. Mai Etman, who explored the conceptual framework of narrative and its essential artistic elements. She also analyzed various techniques used in constructing fictional texts and their impact on engaging readers and conveying profound human and cultural messages.

The seminar included interactive discussions among faculty members and students, focusing on the role of language as a dynamic tool for expressing human experiences through storytelling. This initiative reflects the Faculty’s vision to bridge linguistic studies with creative expression, enhancing students’ literary analysis and critical thinking skills to prepare them for future careers in writing and creative translation.
