Celebrating Dentistry’s Outstanding Students

Driven by the belief that true excellence extends beyond achieving success to sustaining and developing it, PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED) continues to support high-achieving students. Accordingly, CSED held a recognition ceremony to honor top-performing students from the Faculty of Dentistry. This system aims to acknowledge academic achievements and encourage students to become active leaders in future university and community initiatives.

The initiative relies on designated “Excellence Courses”, selecting one specialized course per semester based on academic committee criteria. Students achieving A or A+ grades in these courses are recognized as top achievers, honoring ten students per faculty each semester. This evaluation model motivates undergraduates to attain higher academic standards and ensures continuous tracking of their educational distinction.

Beyond formal recognition, the program builds a database of high-achieving students to engage their skills in upcoming institutional and civic opportunities, strengthening their sense of initiative and social responsibility. CSED highlights PUA’s commitment to embedding a culture of sustainable excellence, valuing student dedication, and offering platforms for positive community contribution.
