Reading is considered a fuel for the mind and soul, and the source of thought. Accordingly, the Cultural Committee of the Union of PUA’s Faculty of Pharmacy organized a book fair. This fair aimed to encourage and urge students to read and give due care to books and thought. The Fair hosted numerous publishing houses and writers, including writers Ibrahim Ahmed Issa, Noha Dawoud, Ahmed Diouf, and Mai Muhammad Etman.

These guests represented role models and motivation for our young writers from the various academic years. Further, the guests talked about their beginnings with writing; from being a hobby to professionalism. They also presented many of their books. At the end, the Faculty honored all the attending writers, while the attendees, including faculty members, teaching assistants, and students, expressed their admiration for the idea of the Fair, hoping for more similar events.
