Beyond the Idea Workshop

Aligning with PUA’s strategy to enrich creative thinking and methodology among its students, the Faculty of Arts and Design hosted a specialized workshop titled “Beyond the Idea: Creating a Design Concept.” Organized under the supervision of the Student Activities Department, the event brought together faculty members and students focused on advancing their design conceptualization capabilities.

The workshop aimed to enhance student skills in transforming initial concepts into well-defined, integrated design frameworks using structured research, visual analysis, and creative problem-solving techniques. Practical sessions trained participants to formulate innovative, execution-ready design solutions that balance aesthetic expression with practical functional requirements.

Discussions emphasized the crucial iterative stages of design development, from exploratory inquiry and data gathering to final conceptual formulation. This initiative underscores the Faculty’s commitment to equipping young designers with advanced intellectual tools and technical methodologies required to excel in competitive global creative industries.
