Arts and Design Launches its First Job Fair

PUA’s Community Service and Environmental Development Center (CSED), in academic coordination with the Faculty of Arts and Design, launched the activities of the “First Job Fair.” This initiative activates PUA’s strategic vision toward supporting its students and graduates, qualifying them logistically for the labor market, and reinforcing the academic institution’s commitment to fostering sustainable partnerships with industrial and productive sectors. The fair aimed to provide a direct interactive platform for students and alumni to connect with elite companies and institutions specialized in fine arts, interior design, digital marketing, engineering coordination, and finishing works, thereby developing their professional skills and exploring contemporary training and employment pathways.

The fair witnessed distinct participation and a notable presence from several leading entities in the Egyptian market, headed by Kayan, PM Lounge Furniture Design, and pixNoise. This was in addition to Vermilion House of Art, a comprehensive cultural and artistic hub dedicated to organizing fine arts exhibitions, book signing events, drawing and sculpting workshops, music and Arabic calligraphy education, alongside embroidery and crochet crafts. Hany Moussa Atelier also recorded a prominent presence, alongside Aya Atta for Finishing and Engineering Consultations, managed by Engineer Aya Atta, a PUA alumna, presenting an honorable model that embodies the efficiency of the university’s outputs and the leadership of its graduates in active design and field execution.

The fair featured direct interviews and networking sessions between company representatives, the student body, and alumni. These sessions reviewed a package of summer training and employment opportunities, while outlining the technical and soft skills demanded by the modern labor market, directly bridging the gap between theoretical academic curricula and practical execution. Organizing this event aligns with PUA’s broader strategy to build effective network partnerships with civil society and the private sector, supporting entrepreneurship and independent employment ecosystems to maximize graduates’ competitive readiness and assert the university’s vanguard role in community service and sustainable development.
