Within the 12th scientific program, the Architectural Engineering Department at Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) orchestrated a collaborative workshop with the Faculty of Architecture at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), renowned for its top-tier ranking among global colleges. This workshop took place in the Netherlands through a partnership between Dr. Ingy Naguib, the International Relations coordinator at PUA’s Architectural Engineering Department, and T. A. Ragy Elgendy, a PhD Researcher at TU Delft and a graduate of PUA’s Architectural Engineering Department.

The workshop was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ramadan Abdel Maksoud, the Department’s Academic supervisor, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamed El Fakharany, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mona Naguib, Dr. Nourhan ElHaridy, and Dr. Doaa El Beheiry. The workshop was attended by 18 participants, including undergraduate and postgraduate students from PUA, as well as recent graduates.

As part of the scientific program, the students embarked on tours of several Dutch cities, exploring their architectural landmarks. Destinations included Rotterdam, Delft, The Hague, Amsterdam, and Zaandam. This immersive experience allowed students to delve into Dutch nature, culture, and the rich architectural heritage, encompassing both modern and traditional designs.
