PUA’s Faculty of Engineering organized a visit to Al-Zohour Orphanage for Disabled Orphans. During the visit, the students distributed some of the needs, aids, food supplies, along with some gifts and sweets to the children in an atmosphere of fun and happiness. The students were really pleased with this charitable work, which put a smile on the children’s faces.

After that, the Faculty delegation visited the Nile of Hope Hospital, which specializes in surgeries for children with congenital deformities for free. The Faculty’s delegation began with an introductory tour throughout the hospital and its various departments.

The hospital includes the largest intensive care with a capacity for more than 40 patients from newborns and children with congenital deformities, the first and largest pediatric diagnostic radiology center, a scientific research center, and genetic laboratories.

In addition, the hospital includes a fetal medicine unit for early detection of genetic diseases, and a surgical and endoscopic unit to perform operations in all delicate and difficult specialties. The hospital also contains 21 specialized and integrative clinics equipped with the latest medical equipment along with a rehabilitation center.
