A Training Workshop on SABRE Flight Booking System
PUA’s Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management spares no efforts to enhance the practical skills of its students and graduates. Within these efforts, the Faculty, represented by the Tourism Services Unit, held a practical training workshop titled: “Flight Ticket Booking Using SABRE System”.
The workshop provided intensive practical training on the global SABRE system used by airlines and travel agents, allowing participants to gain direct experience in booking processes and travel management, and to build advanced technical skills that meet the needs of the contemporary tourism job market.
The workshop saw wide participation from students of the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, students of the Faculty of Languages and Translation, interested graduates keen on professional development, and a faculty member from the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. This initiative is part of the Faculty’s ongoing efforts to link academic knowledge with practical application, and to prepare students capable of confidently and skillfully integrating into global tourism markets.
