A PUA Dentistry Alumni Publishes at an International Journal

Within its constant concern about graduates, and encouraging the pursue of scientific research, PUA’s Faculty of Dentistry, the Postgraduate Studies Department, in particular, extended its congratulations and appreciation to the student, Nourhan Mostafa Amin. This congratulation came after the student has successfully obtained a Master’s degree in Prosthetics and dental Implants and published a key scientific research.

The research that was entitled “a comparative study to evaluate microstrain of low-profile attachment associated with and without bar connection in implant assisted mandibular overdenture” (in-vitro study), was published in BMC Oral Health Journal (part of Springer Nature).

BMC Oral Health is an open-access international journal concerned with scientific research in all aspects of the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the mouth, teeth and gums. It is also concerned with molecular genetics, pathophysiology, and epidemiology.

This interest in scientific research reflects how strong the Dean believes in instilling the significance of scientific research in the development of faculty students and their distinction in researches and practical careers. This would eventually give hope and optimism to these researchers as the makers of a brighter future.
